Squadron supports RAFA

RAFA AppealAir Cadets from 22 (Sandy) Squadron were recently out in force in Sandy, raising funds for the Royal Air Force Association’s Wings Appeal.

Every year air cadets from Sandy help to raise funds for the RAF Association, who use the funds to support serving and former RAF personnel and their families, with this year being extra special, as it is the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

Civilian Instructor Richard Marshall said “As a former member of RAF myself, it’s really good to see the cadets doing their part for the wings appeal, especially with the significance of the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. The cadets should be proud of their efforts in helping raise funds for such a good cause”.

Many thanks to all the members of the public who showed their support to the RAF Association wings appeal.
