Get Involved

Get InvolvedOn Saturday 24th April, cadets from 22 (Sandy) squadron attended the Sandy Get Involved Fair, recruiting alongside 38 other local voluntary organisations.

The event, organised by Sandy Town Council, was aimed at providing voluntary organisation, such as the Air Cadets, a chance to talk to the public about the activities they undertake and to recruit members of the public.

The cadets worked hard throughout the day manning the squadron recruiting stand and talking to the public about the activities they have participated in with the air cadet organisation.

Cadet Ben Kilby said “I have had a fun day, and got to meet many local people. The best bit was giving out the Air Cadet Stickers, as I got to talk to a lot of people about what we do at cadets”.

Thanks go to Mayor of Sandy, Cllr Geoffrey White and Sandy Town Council for organising the event and for the support they have given the squadron.
